3rd Wokingham (Methodist) Brownies
At present our pack is full with 24 brownies, a waiting list and a number of willing helpers. During the summer and autumn we try to arrange as many outdoor activities as possible. Last summer this included exploring Wokingham and for many Brownies finding out where the buses and trains went was an interesting experience. For the first time we joined the guides during their summer camp. The girls had great fun rocket firing, glass sledging and trying their hand at archery. World issues concerned us most during the autumn and we have now raised £150 for Feed the Children as well as collecting three bags of goodies. Christmas tags are increasingly popular and I am sure they will return in the future. As part of Wokingham District our pack has taken part in the Thinking Day celebrations and the swimming gala. The next big event is a brownie takeover of the John Nike Centre which could be very exciting. We are planning a pack holiday at the end of August.
